Service Package Overview

A. The Wedding Cake Experience

Your bridal journey is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We strive to treat it with all the respect, glamour, and attention to detail it deserves.

Included in your Wedding Cake Experience is:

• A Luxury Cake Tasting.

This includes 3x15cm cakes of the couple’s choice, a mini savoury platter, a small bottle of champagne and other refreshments. You will also be able to take a couple of slices of cake home for friends and family to enjoy.

• The Delivery.

The actual wedding cake, delivery, and set-up thereof at the wedding venue.

• A Honeymoon Cake.

This is a small version of the wedding cake and is meant for the bridal couple to enjoy at their own convenience. This will also be delivered to the venue along with the wedding cake.

B. The Dessert Table Experience

Our studio can also supply you with delectable treats for your Dessert Table.

This includes

• Crème tart cakes
• Gourmet Cupcakes
• Macarons/macaron towers
• Dipped strawberries/Strawberry towers (if in season)
• Cakepops
• Cakesicles
• Other treats

Client Guidelines

• To help us create your perfect wedding cake, we encourage you to send maximum 3x Inspirational photos on how the wedding cake should look.
• Also include a photo of your colour palette of the wedding.

Communication

Terms and Conditions

1. We require a 50% non-refundable Booking Fee to secure your order.
2. The final payment is due 14 days before the order due date. We reserve the
   right to cancel the order if payment is late.
3. Cake orders placed 21 days before due date will be subject to rush order
   fees. This fee will be calculated according to the service provider’s discretion depending on the size and detail of the order required as well as availability of ingredients and embellishments.
4. We will do our best to accommodate any changes made 14 days before the order due date. Please note that additional charges may apply to last- minute changes.
5. Cancelled orders will be refunded minus the booking fee if the cancellation falls within a reasonable time. If a cancellation is requested after work has already been started or less than 7 days of delivery, no refund will be given.
6. Our cakes will occasionally include non-edible items on or in the cake. We will inform the client which items cannot be eaten. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are removed before serving.
7. We cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work as we pride ourselves on creating unique designs. We will, however, ensure the look is similar.
8. Once an order is no longer in our care (delivered or picked up), we take no responsibility for any damage caused. Rosebury Cakes is not responsible for shortages of cake caused by anyone not employed by us.
9. We reserve the right to use all photographs of the cake/dessert table items for advertising and marketing purposes.
10. Rosebury cakes shall take no responsibility for medical emergencies/death caused by food allergies. It is the client’s responsibility to mention any allergies when completing the order form and to educate guests as to possible allergens in the cake/dessert table items.
11. This contract shall not be modified or otherwise altered unless approved in writing by both Rosebury Cakes and the client.
12. This contract shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any legal disputes or proceedings shall take place in South Africa.
